Baabu’s brand identity was developed as a cohesive system that translates the bold, authentic flavors of India into a contemporary, design-forward language. We shaped a visual world rooted in warmth, tradition, and modern elegance—using earthy palettes with bold accents, minimalist ingredient illustrations, and thoughtful packaging graphics to tell a clear, sensory story. Each product—from Saffron Chai and Chai Biscuits to Masala Pecans, Za’atar Cashews, and Pistachio Butter—carries delicate line drawings of key ingredients like fennel, cardamom, and pistachio, reinforcing the natural origins behind the flavors. The color strategy draws from spices and grains—spicy reds, warm yellows, grounding beiges, herbaceous greens, and rich pistachio tones—creating an inviting atmosphere that feels both authentic and elevated.

We extended that same language into the pop-up as an immersive brand moment—less “retail setup,” more spatial storytelling. The blueprint focused on how people move, pause, and discover: a clear flow that brought guests from first impression to tasting to product exploration, with moments to linger and connect. Warm ambient lighting echoed the comfort of chai, while natural textures and earthy finishes grounded the space in ingredient-led authenticity. Illustrated panels became oversized brand cues—turning the packaging details into architectural elements—and tastings activated the experience in real time, letting flavor lead the narrative. The result was a space that didn’t just display Baabu, but embodied it—inviting visitors to engage through atmosphere, material, and taste.

the pop-up design was shaped as a full-sensory brand moment—an immersive setup that translated Baabu’s identity into space.
